PROPOSED 2005 TOUR: NOV 13 -DEC 4

Nov 13 - Day 1: Depart SFX, overnite flight to Lima. Arrive Lima 5:21 am. Rendezvous with all participants, some having joined us at US stopover [usually Miami], others will join us at Lima airport.

Nov 14- Day 2: Early morning arrival in Lima. Immediately catch flight to Cuzco. Check into hotel, morn free, lunch, afternoon van to Tambo Machay for water ceremony, then to mysterious Qenqo, then to Sacsay Huaman. Watching a nearly full Moon rise at Sacsay Huaman on Dec solstice will be very special. Van to hotel. Dinner. Early Nite to sleep, to recover from flight, adjust to altitude.

Nov 15 - Day 3: luxury train to Aguas Caliente. Check into Kucho's hotel. Rest until lunch. Afternoon [12 or 12:30]. Bus up to Machu Picchu. Walking meditation in ruins with local shaman. 5:30 return bus or for the more adventuresome, dinner at hotel restaurant just outside the ruins, and return to ruins for nite visit with special nite pass [$20 extra] [chamba guide] then we will walk down to Aguas Caliente by full Moon lite. Optional nite visit to local communal hot baths

Nov 16.17,18 : Day 4,5,6 [full moon is nov 16] options for following 3 days: lounging about and shopping in Agues Caliente. Visits to local communal hot baths. Return to the ruins for the following: [every reentry to MP costs $20], exploring MP ruins on your own. Ritual of Crystal City [read story on www.ancientenergies.com web site]. Climbing Huyana Picchu [the peak behind the ruins in every photograph] then hike down back side to Temple of the Moon. Hike to top of Machu Picchu mountain. Day hike back on Inca trail to Winya Wyna ruins. Optional ritual partaking of local sacred plant medicine San Pedro [mescaline cactus].

Nov 19 - Day 7: Morning free. Afternoon [3pm] luxury train down Urubamba river gorge to Ollantaytambo [1.5 hours]. Check into fine hotel, walk into town [1km] and visit the ancient ruins above the town, [mentioned by Zachariah Sitchin in "The Lost Realms"] and meditate at the solstice observation site of the Condor Niches. [we are still in the solstice window]. After excellent dinner we take a nitetime stroll thru this still inhabited ancient Incan town.

Nov 20 - Day 8: Private van thru Sacred Valley to Pisac. We stop and shop in the famous Sunday local market, then have lunch on the plaza. Then journey up to Pisac ruins for visit. O/nite back at Ollantaytambo..

Nov 21 - Day 9: Various activities in Sacred Valley. We could visit Pachak/pachar solstice site, and Urcos for cleansing ceremony. We welcome Jorge Luis suggestions for the 2 days in Sacred Valley. O/nite again in Ollantaytambo

Nov 22 - Day 10: .Leisurely travel on to Cuzco in our private van, with late afternoon stop at the mysterious and world famous Sacsay Huaman. Check into hotel, take clothes in to laundry, for pick up tomorrow. Dinner and evening free to wander about Cuzco, dig the music scene, or shop in the nite bazaar.

Nov 23 - DAY 11: Rest day in Cuzco. Visit museums, relaxation, possible visits to other sites, music in evening, etc

LAKE TITICACA SEGMENT

Nov 24- Day 12: Long day with early start. Private van from Cusco to Puno visiting Tipon and Racchi, before ending up at beautiful Hotel Taypikala in Chucuito. Optional Nite visit to Ulu Marka.[fertility temple/phallic garden]

Nov 25 - Day 13: Rest morning at beautiful Hotel Taypikala. [Optional early morn visit/re visit Ulu Marka], then van to delightful Bolivian lakeside town of Copacobana. On the way visit Amaru Muru [astral flying spot and portal to 4th dimension]. Check into hotel, and free afternoon for excellent shopping and dining.

Nov 26 - Day 14: . Private boat to Isle of the Sun. Day spent boating/walking, hike to Chicana sacred saddle for ritual, then experience powerful niches at ruins. Incredible spot to enjoy sunset. then walk back down for dinner and sleep at our simple local hotel.

Nov 27 - Day-15: Morning leisure [on beach if sunny], then in afternoon take boat over to Isle of the Moon, set up sleeping arrangements at hamlet, then hike over to temple to observe Moon rise, with ritual. Hike back to hamlet by Moon lite to eat and sleep

Nov 28 - Day-16 return to Copacobana and then private van back to Chucuito, and the excellent Hotel Taypikala. [Ulu Marka fertility temple is in front of the hotel-can visit at your pleasure] An option for those interested, to go to Cutimbo for o/nite San Pedro ritual. [Assuming the square Chulpa is open in case we need shelter from rain].

Nov 29 - Day 17: This is rest day, with optional trip to Cutimbo if we haven't gone there the nite before for San Pedro sacred cactus ritual [group decision]..

Nov 30 - Day 18: Catch early morning private boat to Amantani. Check in and have lunch with family. Then late afternoon hike up to Pacha Tata to enjoy sunset Dinner and nite with family

Dec 1 - Day 19: Early morning hike up to Pacha Mama, ritual there, then individuals at their leisure do death/rebirth chakra initiation thru arches on way to Pacha Tata. Make your own way back to family house and then afternoon [1 or 2pm] boat back to Puno [4 hours], and back to Hotel Taypikala in Chucuito

Dec 2 - Day 20: Free day to relax and reflect

Dec 3- Day 21: Leisurely morn, [9 am will seem late by this point]. 9am van to Sillustani for 2 hr visit to this incredible site, with meditation inside chulpa,.and then on to Juliaca airport. If the earliest flight is 1445, then lunch in Juliaca. If there is an earlier flight, we could take that and lunch in Lima. From Lima airport, take van out to incredible Pachacamac [ruins of one of the largest pyramids of the ancient world] for Sunset closing ceremony, then a nice dinner in Lima, and out to airport for late nite/early morn flight home

Dec 4- Day 22: We board our flight home approx 2 am and arrive home in States later this same day

Please bear in mind that we will be travelling in the third world, where things often change, and flexibility is essential.  Final costs are still being determined. Anticipated Price: $3600  includes SFX-Lima and return (price adjusted for other departure points), 2 internal flights, all ground transport, 2-3 star hotels (double occupancy), guides, entry fees. 

Not included: your meals, airport taxes, travel insurance, personal items.  (Comprehensive Travel insurance  is recommended but not mandatory). 

Deposit of $ 300 reserves your place. ½ trip fee must be paid by 31 Aug, and full payment by 31 Sept. Unless by prior agreement.
